I really thought that most people in the gym strive to work hard in their training sessions. I thought they wanted to push their limits, but I learned they don’t! As a Personal Trainer I always try to put my clients out of their comfort zone. I push them harder than they can push themselves. Some clients are like me and they love it, BUT I recently learnt not everyone wish to work that hard, nor practice new skills or get sore for days afterwards. I don’t get it? If you have a goal but you’re not really willing to put in the hard work, how can you expect results!? It’s when you are out of your comfort zone the the results will start to appear. Doing the same thing without any challenges might keep you in your current shape but you won’t get further than that. I might have to realise that everyone is different and what is a “warm up” in my world might be “the hardest workout ever” for someone else… BUT it doesn’t change the fact of how to reach a certain fitness goals… YOU GOT TO WORK FOR IT! NOTHING COMES FOR FREE!
